The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers endorses abolition of commercial compensated bail
The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers has approved a major bail reform policy. “NACDL endorses the ABA’s recommendation, first approved in 1968, calling for the abolition of commercial compensated surety – bail bondsman”
Essentially the NACDL has decided that Surety Bail Bonds do not have a role in the Pre-Trial release world. Do they understand what Public Safety means?
